Truffle Hunting Saturday Morning

Join us for an intimate tour of the truffière where you will learn about all things truffle. You will become a truffle hunter for the morning, as we walk amongst the trees and follow Barry the truffle dog as he sniffs. When he alerts us to a potential truffle, you will see how these prized ingredients are harvested.

As we unearth the truffles, you will be able to experience first-hand the thrill of the hunt. At the conclusion of the tour, we will warm up at the cottage to clean and store the truffles. We demonstrate some simple ways use truffles and treat guests to a food demonstration using our favourite local products with Folly truffles. BYO Wine/Beer if you like.

This is the perfect opportunity to purchase truffles (subject to availability) straight from the farmer.

Tours commence at 11.00 am and finish around 1.00 pm. Book in at Essen or Varia’s restaurant , or buy some takeaway truffles to enjoy for dinner. Maximum 8 people per hunt to ensure everyone can get their hands dirty!
